While my running partner was out this morning enjoying a frosty 21km, I made it a frightfully slow 4km which considering how bad I flelt on Wednesday night, seemed like a minor miracle. I am not sure exactly what has happend to my calf but it seems now 95% better. I am even thinking of going out again tomorrow so that I can get the km back up. I also know the theory that says don't push it so soon, but if any other runners are reading this blog then they know exactly what it feels like to have a training program and not being able to run it. Fingers crossed that this afternoon I don't get a reaction.
