According to the local Dutch weather sites, the temperature on Sunday will be between 26C and 28C
Good news is that the cough seems to be slowly giving way to my recent Vitamin C overdose but what kind of race plan do you go with at those temperatures? And bizzarely the run starts at 11.00am - so at about the halfway mark it will be bang in the heat of the day.

take a sunshade?
one of those great big patio shades more like! Just glad I'm not running in fancy dress!
Its not soo bad. Don't think about the temperature... Weathermen are usually go wrong with their predictions anyways.
g. maybe not but we are not used to running in this sort of heat. Well, PB's are out, which is a shame as I had trained well and it's just a fact of life that you can plan and train but you cannot organise the weather.
well if you are fit you will survive the heat better, even if you don't do the time you'd hoped for - neither will anyone else - apart from maybe your Kenyan mates?
I am quite sure that you will do your PB, but original target time will be difficult. Heat/weather its all in the mind!! Trust me it(weather) will be a lot better than you expect it to be.
Do remember the AP button at the 35km mark. Best wishes. G
G. I can't wait to press it! And thanks for the advice today.
